How does a session unfold?

After a personalized skin diagnosis, we use serums highly concentrated in low molecular weight hyaluronic acid for deep hydration.

Before beginning, we clean the area to be treated. This cleaning, which lasts approximately ten minutes, is carried out using a sterilizing solution or foam. Its purpose is to remove any product residue or impurities. The goal of this cleaning is to prevent bacteria and product from penetrating the dermis.

After exfoliation, the Beauty & Curves practitioner begins to apply the Activator Pen to the entire area of ​​skin. The application is done using circular motions to stimulate the skin. This stimulation aims to help the active ingredients in the serum penetrate deeper into the skin.

Microneedling is suitable for skin that is beginning to lose elasticity or lacks firmness. Acne scars and signs of aging can also be treated with microneedling.

Is microneedling painful?

Microneedling is generally not painful. However, for those with more sensitive skin, redness may appear after the treatment. But rest assured, this fades quickly. It takes between 24 and 48 hours for the tingling and redness to disappear.

What results can be expected?

The first results are visible one week after the first session.

For optimal skin health, it is recommended to have 4 sessions.

Two microneedling sessions should be spaced at least 15 days apart and no more than one month apart. The interval is chosen according to skin type and the size of the area to be treated. Once the microneedling sessions are completed, periodic maintenance treatments are recommended.

Contraindications

Some people cannot benefit from this technique. Microneedling is not recommended for:
