Luxomed uses Luxopuncture, which involves transferring infrared radiation energy to nerve endings in the same way as acupuncture.

Like reflexology or energy techniques, this infrared technique is based on the hypothesis that stimulating one or more specific areas of the body triggers a reflex that will restore the functional balance of an organ, particularly the hormonal , lymphatic or digestive system.

The energy of the infrared radiation emitted by the Luxomed device is transferred to the nerve endings that constitute the reflex point.

This energy stimulation would act on the vegetative (or autonomic) nervous system and would allow for the restoration of well-being and balance.

The goal is to restore the functional balance of an organ, particularly the hormonal, lymphatic, or digestive systems. Luxomed therefore helps reduce compulsive eating behaviors , induces a relaxing effect, and promotes restful sleep.

This stimulation is gentle, painless, non-invasive and risk-free.

The treatments take place in sessions of 30-40 minutes per week during which about thirty points are stimulated.
